This is the most wonderful book I think I have ever read. Prepare to get completely absorbed by the world of this unique story and a stunning set of characters. It is so stunningly written and I must have learnt about 50 new words reading it (in a fun and lovely way, not a torturous way). Beautiful.

An anthology of poems and conversations – which on paper, sounds dull but it is the most entertaining thing I have read in such a long time. It is written alongside the pandemic unravelling and basically narrates a single man’s descent towards insanity in his own four walls, alongside hilarious political cometary as you have never heard. Super funny, slightly traumatising in a gentle way, haha, and a totally unique and beautiful format to read.

I loved reading this. I did an Open University science degree in my 20s & learnt more useful things in this book than two years of degree. It is the right level of detail without being challenging and I feel like it should be essential reading for everyone to truly understand how their body and mind works. A cracking read.
